Cottage dates

This is the provisional list of when the cottage is taken. Any other times are free. If you want to make a definite or just a provisional booking please email Tim at timothy.locke@talktalk.net and we'll add your dates to this list.

Rates are £30 per night plus electricity at 30p per unit and a contribution to firewood or smokeless fuel if used. Once you have paid in full the booking is confirmed. We will refund cancellations in full that are made up to 2 weeks before the booking date (any later than that, then normally only half the amount paid will be refunded, but we could accept an alternative booking date).

Normally switchover time is 2pm, but we can put you in contact with the person who is arriving when you leave or is leaving when you arrive, so that you can arrange a mutually convenient time.

Minimum booking: 5 nights.

Givron is to be sold

PLEASE NOTE After 52 happy years of ownership by our family, we have decided to sell Givron (with its contents) and will be putting it on the market shortly. We will continue letting it out to cover expenses in the mean time. Anyone interested in buying it is welcome to make contact with us.

Another option

Another local option, also run by friends of ours is Millie's Hut, a shepherd's hut sleeping two (no pets), in a tranquil field just outside Presteigne. Paul and Glenys have done a great job creating this little romantic hideaway. More expensive than Givron, but an utterly gorgeous glamping experience. See milliethehut.co.uk
